These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Android application TipConvert ("the App") provided by CorotaSoft ("the Developer"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

TipConvert is a utility tool designed to help travelers, business travelers, and international students quickly calculate tips, convert currencies, and split bills.

The App provides the following core features:

Tip, tax, and total amount calculation
Currency conversion across multiple currency pairs
Bill splitting (per-person amount calculation)
Offline exchange rate caching
Multi-language support (English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Spanish, French)

03 Disclaimer

All calculation results and exchange rates provided by the App are for reference purposes only. The Developer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided.

⚠️ Exchange rates are fetched from a third-party API (Frankfurter) and may differ from actual transaction rates. For real financial transactions or currency exchange, always verify the official rates with your bank or exchange provider.

The Developer shall not be held liable for any damages (including financial loss, loss of opportunity, or any other harm) arising from the use of this App.

Tip guidelines displayed in the App are general references only and may vary by region, establishment, or circumstance. Users are solely responsible for their own decisions.

04 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the App
Reproducing or redistributing the App for commercial purposes without authorization
Using the App for any unlawful purpose
Interfering with the normal operation of the App
Infringing upon the rights of any third party

05 Intellectual Property

The Developer shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from such changes or discontinuation.

10 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nagoya District Court as the court of first instance.
